Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid may become pouched or plentiful due to aging, sometimes inherited at a younger age, or due to excessive fatigue of the eyes, which can be corrected by eyelid aesthetics. Sometimes there is only sagging or relaxation without bagging the eyelid skin.
Eyelid aesthetic surgery or blepharoplasty is an aesthetic surgical procedure applied to the eyelids. In this procedure, excess adipose tissue is removed from the upper and lower eyelids with excess skin and muscle. However, the amount of tissue removed should be well planned.
A properly performed blepharoplasty gives the patient a younger appearance. Eye aesthetics are performed under local anesthesia.
